What we collect
MultiGroupPoster is a Chrome extension that runs locally in your browser. The data we collect is minimal:
- Account email — required to associate your Pro subscription with your installation.
- License status — whether your Pro subscription is active, trial, or expired.
- Anonymous usage telemetry — version installed, generic feature toggles ("scheduling enabled: true/false"), error reports without personally identifiable content. You can opt out in settings.
- Support communications — anything you email
support@multiplegroupposter.com.
What we don't collect
- Your Facebook password. The extension uses your existing logged-in Facebook session via Chrome — your password never reaches our servers.
- The content of your Facebook posts. We never see the text you write or the groups you select.
- Your Facebook friends, messages, photos, or any other Facebook data outside what's strictly needed to navigate to a group and click "post."
- Your browsing activity outside facebook.com. The extension only activates on Facebook's domain.
Where data lives
Your local browser stores: your group lists, your saved Spintax templates, scheduled campaigns. None of that ever leaves your device.
Our servers (operated by us, hosted on a major cloud provider) store: your account email, license status, and anonymous telemetry. Located in the US.
Payment processing
Pro subscriptions are processed by PayPro Global (a PCI DSS Level 1, SOC 2 Type II compliant payment processor). Your card details touch their systems, not ours. We never see your full card number.
Support chat (Crisp)
Our website and help pages embed a live-chat widget from Crisp so you can reach support directly. When you open the chat, Crisp may collect: your browser type, page URL, and any messages you send.
When you click "Visit Help Center" inside the Chrome extension, your account email is passed in the URL (e.g. ?email=you@example.com) so Crisp can identify you immediately and the operator does not need to ask for your email again. This makes support faster but means your email is shared with Crisp at that moment.
- What is shared: your account email + the extension version you are using.
- What is NOT shared: your Facebook credentials, post content, group lists, or any data unrelated to support.
- If you do not want to share your email: just navigate to
https://multiplegroupposter.com/helpdirectly in your browser instead of clicking the extension's "Visit Help Center" button.
Crisp processes data per their privacy policy. We do not sell or share this data with any other third party.
Cookies & tracking
The marketing site (multiplegroupposter.com) uses minimal cookies for: session persistence (no third-party trackers), and basic privacy-respecting analytics that don't use IPs as identifiers. We do not run Facebook Pixel, Google Ads remarketing, or other intrusive tracking.
