The headline differences
- Engine: MultiGroupPoster's direct-API approach uses Facebook's internal API. GroupPosting uses traditional DOM scraping. The former is harder to break with FB UI updates.
- Free tier: MultiGroupPoster: 6 posts to try (one-time). GroupPosting: time-limited trial.
- Pricing: MultiGroupPoster: $8.99/mo or $69.99/year. GroupPosting: $15-30/mo.
- Spintax preview: MultiGroupPoster shows live previews of 3 sample groups before publishing. GroupPosting has more basic Spintax support.
- Per-group analytics: MultiGroupPoster includes per-group success/failure tracking. GroupPosting has lighter reporting.

GroupPosting wins on:
- Built-in AI composer. Group Posting PRO ships an integrated AI content generator (DeepSeek-based) for drafting variations; with MultiGroupPoster you paste AI output in yourself.
- Visual scheduling calendar. A drag-and-drop calendar for planning campaigns weeks ahead — ours is a queue-and-schedule list, not a calendar view.
- Group discovery / auto-join. They offer automated group finding and joining. We deliberately don't (join automation is a top account-flag trigger) — but if you accept that risk, it's a feature we won't match.
- Keyword monitoring (LeadRadar). Their listing includes keyword-based lead monitoring across groups, which is outside our scope.

Pick GroupPosting if...
- You already use it and the workflow fits your team.
- You want the built-in AI composer or the visual calendar workflow.
- You prefer GroupPosting's specific UI (it's notably minimalist).
Pick MultiGroupPoster if...
- You want a real free tier to test before paying.
- Engine resilience matters (you're tired of tools breaking with each FB update).
- You need lower pricing ($8.99/mo vs $15-30/mo).
- You want detailed per-group analytics.
Migration notes
Switching from GroupPosting to MultiGroupPoster takes a few minutes:
- Install MultiGroupPoster alongside GroupPosting — both can be installed during the transition; just don't run campaigns from both at once.
- Auto-import your groups. The extension scans every group you're a member of (no export file needed) and you rebuild your lists with tags.
- Recreate your scheduled campaigns in the Queue tab — Once, Daily, Weekly, or Monthly — and uninstall GroupPosting when you're satisfied.
