# Share to groups

Updated October 28, 2026 · [Markdown version](https://multiplegroupposter.com/docs/sharing.md)

Short answer

MultiGroupPoster adds a Share to groups button next to Facebook's own Share under posts, Reels and videos. You pick group lists and it goes to each group in turn, either as a share of the original or as a new post of your own. The free plan includes 6 shares; Pro has no limit.

The Share to groups sheet under a Facebook post.

## How it works

- "Share the post" shares the original post. "Post the content as me" makes a new post with its text and photos. A video can only be shared.
- Add a caption (up to 4,000 characters, Spintax allowed) and an optional first comment.
- Default pause: 2 minutes after each group. Nothing is shared automatically: you start every share.

## Free and Pro

More detail: [Share a Facebook post, Reel or video to multiple groups](https://multiplegroupposter.com/share-to-facebook-groups/).

- Free: 6 shares (one group is one share), each with a short "Shared with Multi Group Poster" line.
- Pro: unlimited shares, no credit line, and Schedule for later.
